Here are some tidbits that came out of Jon's interview with Thomas Jefferson: In Jon's words...

"We taped the interview on the 8th. I expected a few surprises, but I wasn't prepared for what Mr. Jefferson had in store for me. Several times, I almost fell off the chair.

"For example:

"Every generation should write its own Constitution.

"He assumed everything west of the Rockies would be another nation.

"The whole purpose of the public education system was to teach civics, what it meant to be citizen of a Republic. If a person wanted to learn how to be a ballet dancer or a shipbuilder or anything else, he/she should go somewhere else to learn how.

"And, Alexander Hamilton took America to 'the dark side.'

"Don't miss this interview."
